The R700 is a vertical packaging machine for the production of three-sided sealed tubular bags as well as block bottom bags and/or block bottom bags with 4 or 5 sides sealing.
The R700 is a very compact and innovative machine that enables very quick format changes. It is characterized by unique technical solutions: positioning the film roll holder at 90° to the central axis of the machine, installing a film triangle in the upper area, which directs the film by 90° in the direction of the mold set. This means that far fewer film deflection rollers are required and higher accelerations can be achieved.
The film removal works continuously, but the sealing works intermittently. An electronic dancer roller ensures that the film runs smoothly along the format shoulder. This principle makes a mechanical film roll brake unnecessary and enables smooth dynamics in which the control software controls the film tension. This means that the first 6 reels run continuously and only 2 reels rotate alternately. Accordingly, no inertial energy is transferred to the film and it is possible to increase the film acceleration and / or the sealing time to the advantage of the production capacity and the aesthetics of the packaging
