VCI tray VALENO layer tray
The designation VALENO Layertray stands for a process for the true-to-contour lamination of load carriers made of different materials with VCI film. Punched corrugated cardboard trays or corrugated cardboard racks can be laminated as well as molded fiber packaging or plastic trays. In this way, sustainable charge carriers made of paper fibers are also used in the field of volatile corrosion protection. The lamination removes the corrosion-promoting property of the corrugated cardboard and the fiber cast when it comes into contact with metals and provides VCI corrosion protection in a closed outer packaging.
With corrugated cardboard and fiber cast, materials are used here that previously required very complex prerequisites for reliable corrosion protection. A significant cost advantage and ecological sustainability characterize this innovation.
