Dollies are an integral part of the logistics process. WALTHER Faltsysteme has successfully developed an innovation in the form of a new central brake. “When using a conventionally dolly, each castor has to be locked separately, which is a time-consuming step. Often the castor lock protrudes over the base plate and can easily come loose during transport,” explains Oliver van Neerven, Head of Project Management at WALTHER Faltsysteme. The new total brake locks two castors at the same time with just one step on a pedal – and is therefore not only safe, but also ergonomic to use. Another advantage: the brake does not protrude but is integrated in the dolly. This gives users the security of knowing that nothing will come loose. At the same time, the entire dolly remains within the system size. Like almost all dollies from WALTHER, the 8620 V1 is also stackable thanks to the castor recess and comes with four in-mould labels.
The dolly can be equipped with different castor variants. “We can therefore adjust it to the needs of our customers,” states Oliver van Neerven. “The best thing about it is that we can handle both small and large series.”
